The surronding area it is full of interesting itineraries, particularly we suggest : Castelli Romani with Frascati, Ariccia and the lakes, Villa Adriana and Villa d'Este in Tivoli, Palestrina with the archeological museum. And more : the green hills, the medieval little cities, the tipical wine festivals, the good wine and the delicious food&vine itineraries.

Castelli Romani :
About 20km south of Rome, the Colli Albani (Alban Hills) and their 13 towns are collectively known as the Castelli Romani. Since early Roman days they’ve provided a green refuge from the city and today Romans still flock to the area on hot summer weekends. The most famous towns are Castel Gandolfo, where the pope has his summer residence, and Frascati, famous for its delicate white wine. Also we suggest the lakes area : Nemi with its lake and the strawberries and Albano lake. Also if you have time do not miss to visit Ariccia with the beautiful view and the delicious "porchetta", and the wines and appetizers of the "Fraschetterias". All the area it is well known as food&wine itinerary and it is featured by green hills and a natural park "Parco regionale dei Castelli Romani" as the "Pratoni del vivaro" area where also it is located the international horses centre.
