BIRG ticket (6 Euro, valid 1 day till midnight) offers no limit acces to all public transports of Rome (included the train Wiki-Rome-Wiki).
Children travel for free on all public transport of Rome (but they pay the half on the train Wiki-Rome-Wiki) if aged 9 or less.
All historical & cultural sites and artshows of Rome are free entry on the last Sunday, every month !
Colosseo, Palatino & Foro Romano are all included in one ticket, valid for 2 consecutive days.
Eu citizens aged under 18 or over 65 have free entry at Colosseo, Palatino e Foro Romano, if aged 18-24a reduced ticket it is available.
Sistina Chapel and Vatican Museums are also free entry on the last Sunday of the month (but expet long lines!)
A special dress code it is always needed if you are going to visit Vatican city, San Peter square, the Vatican Museums, the Sistina Chapel.
Iy you have some time to visit Piazza Navona, do not miss the nearby Governo Vecchio street, Campo dei Fiori square and the Pantheon.
If you are going to visit Spanish square do rest in Villa Borghese Park thru the Spanish Step, if yuo have time go also to the romantic Pincio's terrace and from there you can come down again in Piazza del Popolo.
The 64 bus it is a good public transport from Termini to the Vatican... but take care of your pocket on this bus ;)
San Lorenzo block offer pubs, pizzeria and restaurants with good rates and good food, it is located nearby Termini and it is always full of people of Roma, specially young universitarians.
The social centres (centri sociali) are special places, featured by political activism and very very underground musical and culural events on week-end, if you are a curios and open minded person do not miss to visit one on week-end.
